Alberta Wagon Trekkers have an exciting announcement…  on November 20-23, 2024, AWTA along with our contractors and sponsors went into the Clearwater to do some repair on the existing wagon trail.

 

The Alberta Wagon Trekkers worked closely with Foresty and Parks out of Rocky Mountain House in a partnership to ensure things were done in the best interest of the recreational user and utilized the grant money to its highest potential . In total we were able to fill approximately 12 mud holes and 500 yards of low lying trail with gravel, plus one short re-route around a problem area in hopes it’s more sustainable in the future. Many AWTA members volunteered. In 2025 AWTA is planning on doing some repairs on the Panther Trail.
